Available for all stays between January 1, 2027 and December 31, 2027, the new dining plan lineup features three tiered options to fit different traveler budgets and preferences, with exclusive perks for guests who book early or bundle the plan with hotel and ticket packages. The entry-level Quick Service Standard plan includes two quick service meal credits, one snack credit, and one refillable drink mug per guest per day, with a new 15% discount for all guests who reserve their plan 12 months or more in advance of their stay. For guests who prefer sit-down dining experiences, the mid-tier Table Service Plus plan adds one table service meal credit per day, plus priority reservation access to 12 high-demand dining locations across all four theme parks, including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’s Oga’s Cantina, Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant, and Animal Kingdom’s Tusker House character dining. Guests who bundle the Table Service Plus or Premium tier with a 4-night or longer resort hotel and ticket package will receive two free specialty dining experiences as a bonus, including a private character meet-and-greet with a themed meal at EPCOT’s Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. The top-tier Premium Dining Experience plan offers unlimited meal and snack credits across all quick service, table service, and signature dining locations, plus complimentary access to exclusive tasting events during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. One of the most praised updates to the 2027 plan is the elimination of peak season surcharges, which previously added up to $25 per guest per day for visits during spring break, Christmas, and summer holiday periods. Unused meal and snack credits can now be rolled over for the full duration of a guest’s stay, instead of expiring at the end of each day, addressing one of the most common complaints about past dining plan iterations. Annual Passholders receive an additional 10% off any dining plan tier, plus a free 5-item tasting pass for the 2027 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Booking for the 2027 Disney World Dining Plan opens to the general public on October 15, 2024, with early access for Disney Vacation Club members starting October 10. Disney Parks Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro noted in the press release that the new plan was designed around direct guest feedback, stating, “We know dining is one of the most beloved parts of any Disney World trip, and this updated plan gives guests more flexibility, more value, and more access to the unique dining experiences they’ve been asking for.”

As a mom of 3 who visits Disney World every other year, this 2027 dining plan is a total game-changer! No more peak season surcharges and the free drink upgrades will save us at least $150 on our week-long trip. I already set a reminder for the booking date next month.

I’m so hyped that they included Oga’s Cantina priority access in the plus tier! I tried to get a reservation there last year and waited 3 hours in the standby line. This alone makes the extra cost of the table service plan worth it for my 2027 graduation trip.

As a Platinum Annual Passholder, I’m thrilled about the extra 10% discount and the free EPCOT Food & Wine Festival tasting pass. Disney actually listened to passholder feedback this time, I’ll definitely be purchasing this plan for all my trips next year.

As a Disney travel content creator, I’ve already gotten 20+ DMs from followers asking about this plan. The ability to roll over unused credits is the most underrated update here—no more forcing yourself to buy a random snack just to use up your daily allowance at the end of the day, that’s such a huge win for casual travelers.
