UFC Boss Dana White Reveals the Rudest A-List Celebrity He’s Ever Met in 20+ Years Leading the Fight Organization

Key keywords: Dana White, UFC boss, rudest A-lister, celebrity encounter, UFC VIP access, Hollywood A-list celebrity, Full Send Podcast interview, cageside celebrity guests During a recent guest appearance on the Full Send Podcast, UFC president and long-time fight promotion head Dana White made viral headlines after opening up about the most entitled, rude A-list celebrity he has crossed paths with in his decades leading the world’s biggest mixed martial arts organization. White, who has overseen more than 600 UFC events across 30+ countries since taking the helm in 2001, noted that he has hosted hundreds of high-profile celebrities at cageside seats over the years, ranging from Academy Award-winning actors and Grammy-winning musicians to Super Bowl champions and global political figures. “99% of the famous people that come to our shows are total class acts,” White shared during the interview. “They reach out weeks in advance to sort out tickets, they keep their entourages small, they respect the space of the fans and the fighters backstage, and they never pull the ‘do you know who I am?’ card with my staff.” That’s why his 2015 run-in with an unnamed A-list film star stood out so sharply, per White. He recalled that the celebrity showed up unannounced to a sold-out UFC 189 event in Las Vegas with 17 members of his entourage, and demanded immediate access to the exclusive private VIP section next to the octagon, which had been sold out to premium ticket holders 6 months prior. When security stopped the group and explained they could not enter without pre-approved credentials, the star stormed over to White, who was standing nearby coordinating event logistics, and began screaming at him for “not knowing who he was” and “embarrassing him in front of his friends.” “I looked at him dead in the eye and told him I didn’t give a damn who he was, that this was my event, and if he didn’t calm down and follow the same rules as every other guest, he’d be escorted off the property by security immediately,” White said. He added that the celebrity left the venue shortly after the confrontation, and had his team reach out to White’s office a week later to offer a formal apology, which White declined to accept. “I don’t care how many hit movies you’ve made or how many followers you have. If you treat my staff like garbage and act like you’re better than everyone else who paid to be here, you’re not welcome at any UFC event ever again,” White stated. He noted that he has no plans to publicly name the celebrity, as he does not want to drive unnecessary negative attention to the star, but confirmed that the individual has not been invited to any UFC event in the 8 years since the incident.

Wow I’m not surprised at all that Dana shut this guy down! He’s always run UFC events with zero tolerance for entitled behavior, even from huge stars. Kudos to him for sticking up for his staff instead of kissing up to celebrity clout.

I need to know who this A-lister is SO BAD! My guess is Mark Wahlberg, he’s had so many public reports of rude behavior over the years. Dana dropping this huge tea without naming names is straight-up torture for celebrity gossip fans lmao.

As a former VIP event security worker, this hits so close to home. Entitled A-listers pull this ‘do you know who I am’ crap every single weekend, and most of the time we’re forced to let them get away with it to avoid drama. It’s so refreshing to see someone with as much power as Dana stand up for his team.

Love that UFC doesn’t bend over backwards for celebrities the way other sports leagues do. The events are for the fighters and the fans first, not for rich famous people to throw their weight around. I hope that rude A-lister learned a real lesson from getting put in his place.
