All You Need to Know About Our 2024 UEFA Champions League Final Public Screening Event

Key keywords: 2024 UEFA Champions League final screening, Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund live broadcast, London UCL final watch party, free public football viewing event, Wembley final official fan gathering, halftime entertainment for UCL screening, accessible football viewing facilities, match day food and drink offers Our much-anticipated 2024 UEFA Champions League final public screening is set to kick off on Saturday 25 May at the King’s Cross Outdoor Screen Venue in central London, bringing together over 8,000 football fans from across the world to watch the highly awaited clash between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Gates will open at 5PM BST, with official pre-match build-up starting immediately, and the final is scheduled to begin at 8PM BST, following the opening ceremony broadcast live from Wembley Stadium. For entry, fans who registered via our official website before 20 May can gain access for free, while walk-in tickets are available for £10 per person on the day. Children under 12 can enter for free at all times, but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult at all times, with no unaccompanied minors allowed on site. We have installed four 4K ultra-high definition giant screens across the venue, with zero viewing blind spots, so every guest can catch every pass, tackle and goal in crystal clear quality. To cater to fans of both finalist teams, we have curated a special food and drink menu featuring authentic Spanish tapas, German currywurst and pretzels, alongside classic British match day favourites like fish and chips and meat pies. A wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available, with a designated alcohol-free family zone for guests who prefer a quieter environment, complete with child-friendly activities and seating. We have prioritised accessible facilities for all disabled guests, including step-free wheelchair access across the entire venue, hearing loop compatible audio systems, real-time audio description services for visually impaired fans, and dedicated accessible seating areas located close to all amenities. During halftime, we have arranged a full line-up of entertainment, including a live DJ set, fan trivia competitions with prizes ranging from official Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund signed jerseys to two tickets to the 2025 Champions League group stage match of your choice, and a special guest appearance from former Premier League star and football pundit Michael Owen, who will share his half-time analysis and interact with fans. For safety, all guests will go through a standard security check on entry, with banned items including glass bottles, sharp objects, large backpacks, and any discriminatory or offensive banners and clothing. Any guests found engaging in hate speech, violent behaviour or unauthorised vending will be immediately removed from the venue with no refund. We strongly recommend using public transport to attend the event, as the venue is just a 3-minute walk from King’s Cross St Pancras Underground Station, with additional night bus services running after the final ends to help guests get home safely. In case of extreme bad weather, we have a fully equipped indoor backup venue located 5 minutes away, and all updates will be posted on our official Instagram and X (Twitter) accounts 2 hours before gates open.

Wow, I booked my free spot last week and can’t wait to watch the final with thousands of fellow fans! The German currywurst on the menu sounds perfect, I’ve been hyping Dortmund up all month and this feels like the best place to watch them lift the trophy hopefully. Fingers crossed I win that signed jersey in the halftime trivia!

As a visually impaired football fan, I really appreciate that you’ve put so much thought into accessible services like real-time audio description. So many public screenings completely forget about disabled fans, this makes me feel so included. I already told all my friends from my disabled football club to sign up for walk-in tickets.

Quick question for the organisers? I’m bringing my 8-year-old son who’s a huge Real Madrid fan, is the family zone going to have any small activities for kids during halftime? It can be hard to keep him occupied when the players are off the pitch, but either way we’re both super excited for the day.

Just a heads up for anyone coming from out of town: the King’s Cross area gets really busy on big match days, so leave at least 30 minutes earlier than you planned to get through security. I went to the 2022 World Cup final screening here and the queues were long, but the atmosphere was 100% worth it.
